Barzaman needs neither an account nor an internet connection. Everything is saved on your device from the first second.

1. Install or open Barzaman

2. Choose your language and calendar

On first launch, choose a language (Persian, Arabic or English) and your primary calendar. You can change these at any time in Settings — see calendars and digits.

3. Pick your roles

Choose the roles that fit you — student, Konkur candidate, medical staff, manager and so on. Barzaman installs the right types, templates and reports. You can combine roles and change them later.

4. Add your first item

  1. On Today, tap the add button.
  2. Type a title. You can put the date and time right in it — “Statistics exam tomorrow 5pm, remind me 1 hour before”. Barzaman recognizes the date, time, type and reminder and highlights them.
  3. Fine-tune type, recurrence, reminders and fields in the full editor if you need to, then save.

5. Allow notifications

So reminders ring on time, allow notifications and exact alarms when asked. Some phones need a few extra settings — please read making reminders reliable on Android.

6. (Optional) Create an account

To sync between devices, sign in from the account section in Settings. Every local feature works without an account. Read more in offline use and sync.

Tip: make a backup now and get into the habit of repeating it. See backup, export and import.
