Three kinds of notes

  • Standalone notes for anything, from ideas to shopping lists.
  • Notes on items — lecture notes for a class session, minutes for a meeting. One note can link to several items.
  • Date notes — a daily journal; the day and calendar views show “notes on this date”.

The editor

Notes are built from blocks: paragraphs, headings, bulleted and numbered lists, checklists, quotes, code, dividers, callouts, simple tables, images and files. Markdown shortcuts work too — # and a space for a heading, - and a space for a list.

You can mention an item (say, an exam) or a date; that item’s page shows the notes that mention it.

Persian and English side by side

Each paragraph takes its direction from its first letter, so Persian paragraphs align right and English ones align left, with punctuation where it belongs. You can override a paragraph’s direction when needed.

Templates

Built-in templates: lecture notes, meeting minutes, lesson plan, visit note (patient codes only) and mood journal. Turn your own notes into templates too.

Finding notes

Tags, pins, colors and search. Search treats Arabic and Persian letter variants (ي/ی, ك/ک), diacritics and zero-width non-joiners as equal, so every spelling finds the same note.

Export

Export any note to PDF or Markdown. If a note is edited on two devices at once, no text is lost — the other version is kept as a conflict copy for you to choose from.
